The team have been making excellent progress on the barn conversion, transforming a previously unused timber structure on the factory premises into a high-quality, modern building.

The project began with the careful stripping back of the existing barn, taking the structure apart before rebuilding it to a significantly enhanced specification. This approach ensures that the barn’s original character will be retained while delivering the thermal efficiency and durability expected of a modern building.

Recent weeks have seen the external walls prepared and upgraded, with new structural elements, weatherproofing, and insulation systems being installed, strengthening the building and improving its long-term performance.

By the end of this week, the black agricultural-style cladding on two sides of the building will be complete, providing a clearer picture of the finished appearance. Internally, insulation works will also be finished, marking another important milestone in creating a comfortable and energy-efficient space.

The project remains firmly on schedule, with the external envelope rapidly taking shape. Further updates will be shared as work moves on to the next stage of the build.
